Sneak Peak at a New Homeschool Site

Okay, so I know this isn’t a real “thoughts” post, but I’ve been wanting a chance to share this info for nearly two weeks! So, here goes…

There is a brand new website in the making. Created by Home Educating Family, home of Home Educating Family Magazine and The Well Planned Day planners, Homeschoolconvention.com launches fully in January 2012. When it is all said and done, this site will be the one-stop shop for home education. It will be a convention, magazine, store, blog, and information center like has never been seen before.

Obviously, homeschoolconvention.com is being created with homeschoolers in mind, but the information included is highly relevant to anyone who believes in the importance of being highly involved in their children’s education.

So, why am I mentioning it now? Because the awesome section that I get to be a part of is in beta-testing right now! I am a part of the review team, and we already have a wide selection of reviews up and ready for interaction. The goal is to have at least a dozen new reviews up every week.

We would love for you to go check it out and especially interact with the reviews and reviewers. Let us know what you think. We’d love for you to agree with us, disagree with us, ask questions, or add to what we have to say. If you’ve used the product yourself, you can make note of that in the comments and even rate the product yourself!

So, come join the fun at homeschoolconvention.com/reviews. Bookmark the site so you can come back often. Share the site with friends. And, stay tuned. As each new phase of the site is launched, I’ll be sure to give you an update!

I am a homeschooling preacher's wife and managing editor for the Well Planned Gal. But, I also love to write just for the fun of it. I also process best through writing, and my thoughts tend to flow from things I learn through the Bible, interacting with my family, and moving through life in general. Thanks for joining me in my not quite ordinary journey.

What are your thoughts? I'd love to hear from you!
