Thankful for…

…the freedom to celebrate Christmas in a religious manner. In all of the complaining about not being able to put manger scenes on government property, we sometimes forget that we have the freedom to deck our homes inside and out with manger scene décor. Many in this world cannot even publicly say the name of Jesus, much less display things to honor Him.

…warmth through the night, even when it is cold outside.

…a husband who has remained constantly faithful for thirteen years – and intends to keep it up!

…fellowship and friendship.

…my sweet little boy’s sickness this week limited to just a fever and sluggishness – no croup this time!

…protection for my hubby while he hunted, and the deer meat that will soon be in our freezer.

…peace and wisdom in full supply.

…the delight of making Christmas gifts with my precious children.

I am a homeschooling preacher's wife and managing editor for the Well Planned Gal. But, I also love to write just for the fun of it. I also process best through writing, and my thoughts tend to flow from things I learn through the Bible, interacting with my family, and moving through life in general. Thanks for joining me in my not quite ordinary journey.

What are your thoughts? I'd love to hear from you!
