Into the Glorious by Christy Nockels

I was introduced to the powerful voice of Christy Nockels imageyears ago when she and her husband Nathan were members of a group called Sons and Daughters. The couple then went on to form their own duo, Watermark. More recently, Christy has focused on a solo career, with Into the Glorious being her second album.

Worship music is Christy Nockel’s passion, and that passion is clearly reflected in the music of her new album. Although the first song jumps into exciting and peppy worship, it is not indicative of the entire album. Instead, Into the Glorious is, for the most part, a very calm and meditative worship album. While it might be a little counter-productive for a “keep me awake while driving” album, Into the Glorious is a perfect tool to remind us to slow down and turn our entire focus away from the rush of life and onto the Savior Himself.

All in all, Christy Nockels has once again shown her talents as a singer, songwriter, and worship leader.

Here’s the story behind Into the Glorious.

Story behind the music.

This album was sent to me by the Media Collective in exchange for my honest review.

Author:

I am a homeschooling preacher's wife and managing editor for the Well Planned Gal. But, I also love to write just for the fun of it. I also process best through writing, and my thoughts tend to flow from things I learn through the Bible, interacting with my family, and moving through life in general. Thanks for joining me in my not quite ordinary journey.

What are your thoughts? I'd love to hear from you!
