What Works for Me: A Little More

I had a nice, quick “What Works for Me” post all figured out. Then I decided it needed pictures. And more details. And, well, it got not-so-quick.

That’s what I get for working for a brilliant design-happy boss who makes everything beautiful and with an amazing team who can accomplish much in a very short period of time. I’m now spoiled to wanting to give more.

But I can’t really say that it is a bad thing.

I know that my single contributor blog will never have the beauty that we produce at HEDUA. But, I find myself learning to invest more. To really evaluate projects. To consider what is and is not worth my time. Your time. And if it is not worthwhile to one of us, then it is better to not publish anything than to waste our time.

I’m still learning. I have a long way to go. A loooooong way to go. But what works for me right now is to try. To give a little more, even if I am the only one who even reads or cares. I’m giving a little more because I want to do everything to the glory of God. Therefore I want to do everything with excellence.

Do I succeed? Not always. In fact, not usually. But that is not going to stop me from trying.

Are there ways you can give a little more this week?

I am a homeschooling preacher's wife and managing editor for the Well Planned Gal. But, I also love to write just for the fun of it. I also process best through writing, and my thoughts tend to flow from things I learn through the Bible, interacting with my family, and moving through life in general. Thanks for joining me in my not quite ordinary journey.

What are your thoughts? I'd love to hear from you!
